My mission with Lori’s Ark is to make a tangible difference in the world of animal rescue. My primary goal is to generate funds through various fundraising efforts to support nonprofit organizations and other worthy animal rescue initiatives. Every dollar my team and I raise is directed towards lifesaving causes such as the Humane Society, Last Chance Animal Rescue, DDS for Vets, and Animal Alliance (NJ), with more organizations to follow.
The funds we raise are meticulously allocated to cover essential needs, including medical care, adoption costs, transportation, foster fees, marketing, training, and more. By providing these resources, we ensure that animals receive the care and attention they deserve.
Within the next three years, or sooner if possible, I aim to raise enough funds through grants and collective fundraising efforts to purchase property for a dog farm. This farm will be a sanctuary where I can live and work, saving and loving homeless dogs and cats. Whether adoptable or in need of permanent care, these animals will find a safe haven with us. Our farm will also offer free medical care, ensuring their well-being.
My journey is deeply rooted in extensive experience with animal rescue and rehabilitation. I have adopted, fostered, and rehabilitated countless animals, including wildlife. From rescuing animals in dangerous situations and returning them to their natural habitats to taking in lizards, turtles, and tortoises, my dedication is unwavering. I have collaborated with organizations like Turtle Rescue of Long Island and Quogue Wildlife Rescue, and volunteered at Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue during the pandemic. Feeding feral cats throughout the Hamptons, even shoveling snow to provide access, showcases my commitment.
My lifelong mission has come to fruition with a clear, twofold purpose:
Save Lives: Rescue and rehabilitate homeless and abused pets, using all available resources to ensure their lifelong protection and safety.
Generate Funds: Support like-minded nonprofit animal rescue groups and individuals through fundraising, sponsorships, and community outreach.
This mission is no small task. It requires providing food, shelter, medical care, training, foster care, transportation, and most importantly, unconditional love. Lori’s Ark thrives on collaboration, proving that it indeed takes a village to make a significant impact.
